The A. W. Parker (Drybrook) Band is a Brass Band located in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. We are a First Section contesting band and also perform at many concerts and events in and around the local area of Drybrook and Mitcheldean.

We are members of Brass Bands England, our local Gloucestershire Brass Band Association and also run the annual 'Bailey Lane End Music Festival' for youth players wishing to compete in a friendly atmosphere.

Entries now welcome for the 52nd Bailey Lane End Music Festival

The Festival will take place on the 16th July 2022 at Five Acres High School in Coleford, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust. The band are looking forward to rebuilding the festival after the pandemic and will be running nine classes for children and adults of all ages and abilities, including duets and groups as well as an open section with no age limit. Our aim is to encourage young players (often playing their first public solo) to take part and experience performing, although prizes are awarded in all sections. We also encourage adults to play their first public solos in the open section.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS 1st JULY 2022
